This microchip is contained in a sterile capsule that is made of biocompatible glass and has a 15-digit digital code. This code is individual for each animal and remains throughout life. Implantation of a microchip capsule is a fast, easy and painless procedure. It is a subcutaneous injection. A disposable implantation applicator is supplied with the microchip in a sterile package. The usage of biocompatible glass avoids migration of the chip under the animal’s skin.
