Air travel is primarily international airlines. Therefore, it is not surprising that the rules for transporting dogs by plane are clearly defined. The main thing is to find out in advance about all rules in your carrier company. After all, almost all companies have their own instructions for the transportation of animals. It will be useless to argue with the airline without adhering to these rules.

Lufthansa
The airline transport animals in the passenger cabin or in the luggage compartment, depending on their weight and size.
Please note that only dogs, cats, hares and rabbits are accepted for carriage in the luggage compartment from January 1, 2017.
